Merry Christmas to All!

Merry Christmas to all. This is a picture of my dad visiting the Frederick and Nelson (department store) Santa in Seattle in 1946. My all time favorite picture of him as a child.

Old World Santa and Lock and Key Club Scrap digital kits used for the layout.

This year's holiday cookies: Black and Whites, Pecan Sandies, Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip, Turtle Bark, Thumbprints, Maple Yule Logs, Maple Roca Bites, Buried Cherries and Scandinavian Almond Bars.  Yum!

Happy Yuletide!

I saw a picture of one of these on Pinterest and just had to try making my own driftwood tree.

Roger drilled all the pieces for me and then we threaded them onto an 8ft piece of rebar driven 3ft into the ground. Quite easy to assemble. Then I set about making ornaments for the tree.

The snow queen is made from oyster shells, deconstructed dollar store flowers, beads, and a tiny tree ornament for a hat.
