Grunge Rose

This week we're making grunge flowers from our wonderful CCC books. You should hop on over to StudioL3 and see some of the gorgeous art being created for this challenge. I hunted and hunted for my grunge paper this week and couldn't find it, but I did find a rose all cut out from TH's 12 Days of Christmas tags from last year, so I went with it and decided to make a holiday brooch. The ribbon really brightened up with the flash, it is much more wine colored in real life. Have a great week everyone!

  4. Rachelle... this is so pretty, I just love the muted color of the holly leaves, and the embellies that you used for the stamens in the flower are wonderful... :)

  6. Wow, Rachelle, this is spectacular! What a gorgeous way to be a style maker during the holidays. The rose is perfect, and the holly leaves and ribbon are so perfect for the season. Love that cool red mesh, too-- it makes a great backdrop. Lovely work!
