I decided to join in the challenge being offered over at Studio L3, so I played a little with the Water Stamping technique today. These are the 3 cards I came up with. I had the little face collages sitting in my (I'll use these someday drawer) and thought they went perfect with the background image I came up with. The collages were created with various torn scraps and then run through the Stampress and embossed. I used Distress Inks Broken China, Dusty Concorde and Faded Jeans. The stamp is from Club Scrap's Be Still kit and the pattern matte is from DaisyD's Recollection line. Fibers pulled from my enormous stash.
Rachelle, your cards are amazing! I absolutely love how you designed these, and the embellishments work beautifully with the water stamping. I wish I had stuff that cool in my own "someday drawer!"
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this beauty! I'm so happy you joined the Compendium Challenge!

Wow! This is fabulous! Generally, creations with Distress Inks are not as contemporary as this one is. I love it.
ReplyDeleteYour water stamped backgrounds are gorgeous and love your creations! Cheers!
