The beaches just north of us have finally opened for razor clams after being closed for over a year due to high levels of domoic acid. Roger dug 4 of the 5 minus tides this past week end and ended up getting a total of 47 for his effort. Hoping the beaches here in town open for the next tides, but for now we're enjoying the beautiful clams once again.
Cape Cod and By the Seashore Kits were used in this layout.
We canned the majority of the clams in a dozen half pint jars, but we also had a big pot of Grandpa Orville's famous chowder and a lovely pasta and clam sauce with a side fried clam too. Yum!
