Marbled Stains--Summer of CC Week 2

Got it in gear this week end to work on this week's challenge. I chose the Marbled Stains technique to make a thank you card. I used Picket Fence, Dusty Concord, Peacock Feathers, Peeled Paint, Stormy Skies and Faded Jeans stains for my background.

Although, both cards are composed about the same, I did a little masking on this first one and then thought that was too much, so I just used a single stamp for the flower on the second one.

I like this composition better. The background isn't as muddy and the single stamp is enough. I also enhanced the flowers and leaves with some Dusty Concord and Evergreen Boughs distress markers.
