Thought I'd join in and revisit the Creative Chemistry lessons this summer before 103 starts in August. And I love Distress Inks so what better way to get started than with some Blended Spritz.
I needed a graduation card for my cousin Tyclee this month and also wanted to give my new (at Christmas) Dylusions stamps a whirl! Can't believe these have been sitting unopened since December! Arggggh!
The Distress colors I used were, Festive Berries, Peeled Paint, Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Broken China, Dusty Concord and Vintage Photo. Added a Kay&Co dimensional butterfly and some butterfly Recollections paper for the card base.
And, since it's an odd sized card I had to make a coordinating envelope out of some very vintage text weight scrapbook paper that I only keep around for this purpose.
Hope she doesn't visit my blog before she gets the card, but if she does, oh well, it won't be a surprise.
Lovely card! I love every aspect!
ReplyDeleteI really like how you put this together.
